Last updated: February 2026
1. Overview
ClientLight is a digital service that delivers company intelligence reports instantly upon request. This policy explains your refund rights under UK consumer law.
2. Digital Services — Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period for digital content purchases. However, by using our service to generate a company report, you acknowledge and agree that:
- The digital content (company report) is delivered immediately upon request
- You expressly consent to immediate delivery
- You acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once the report has been generated
This is in accordance with Regulation 37(1)(a) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
3. Subscription Refunds
Monthly/annual Pro subscriptions: You may cancel at any time. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.
14-day cooling-off period: If you cancel within 14 days of your first subscription payment and have NOT used any Pro features, you are entitled to a full refund.
4. Credit Pack Refunds
Unused credits: If you purchased a credit pack and have not used any credits, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
Partially used credits: No refund is available once any credits from the pack have been used.
5. Exceptional Circumstances
We may, at our sole discretion, offer refunds or credits in cases of:
- Technical failures that prevented report delivery
- Duplicate charges
- Service unavailability during your subscription period
